Welcome, you've reached the Willys Dealership Project. Unfortunately, personal circumstances leave me unable to accept more information for further updates, but I'll leave the existing documentation online for your perusal.
From a secondhand shop in Carson, WA, here's the brochure that started it all. Although no date is present, the timeframe would have been around 1947:

In the righthand corner of the brochure was a stamp from a local dealer of the time, Cohen-Anderson Motor Company in Portland, Oregon:
Hmm, I said to myself, what's at that address today? One thing led to another, and before I knew it, this project was born. My inspiration was the fascinating book "Oregon Then and Now", with vintage photographs carefully retaken in modern times.
The original plan was to to document, with the help of others from across the country, what has become of the buildings that have housed Willys dealerships. Click on the list of states at the left to get started. After selecting a state, you'll be on a page from which you can select a city or town. Some locales have multiple listings with different names from different time periods but no addresses. These possible duplications could be due to various dealership incarnations at any given location. While there are many dealerships listed so far for some states, this list is by no means conclusive.
Enjoy!
